I deeply appreciated Erika Kirk’s tribute to her husband yesterday.

I pray that I can imitate the standards she set forth and for God to give her wisdom, strength, and comfort as she seeks to imitate her savior on the road ahead.

In The Singer, Calvin Miller said something like “Eye for eye & tooth for tooth is the sure-fire way to make the world blind and toothless.”

And Jesus said, “Love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you, ^… for if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?“  (Mt 5.44–46, NET)

If we have ears, let us listen.
