This is the view north from the Institute, along Ulica Kušlanova. It was sunny and gorgeous today, but the high temperature was around 35. The building at the end of the street is the Slovenian embassy. In the background is Sljeme, the mountain peak nearest Zagreb.
Sljeme is only 4,000′ at its peak. But Zagreb is only 400′ above sea level, so the prominence is comparable to Sandia Peak above Albuquerque or the peaks around Denver.
